About me:
I’m a 26 year old woman who first started playing the Sims 1 back in high school. I own all expansion packs for the Sims 1 and Sims 2, with one stuff pack for Sims 2. I’ve only played the Sims 3 a couple of times but so far prefer the Sims 2.
I’ve been playing video games for about 17 years and the main game I play is World of Warcraft (see my WoW page) which I play almost everyday. My Sims 2 I play every couple months or so but always have fond memories of my Sims.
About this blog:
The reason I say it’s “not your typical Sims 2 blog,” is because most Sims 2 blogs I enjoy reading follow a Legacy challenge with trying to make one sim founder, 10 generations following, all while you, the player have minimal control. I hope to someday start a Legacy challenge and to maybe document it as a blog but for now I enjoy my current sims and not letting them age or die.
I always like to see how other players have played the premade sims–how they’ve changed their appearance, what kind of hacks or behaviors do they let their sims have, which sim has emotional/physical relationships with who, family trees, and housing/interior decorating.
My play style:
I enjoy giving makeovers to my sims and do not like most of the premade houses because of the layout or size issues. Houses that are too big are incovenient and houses that are too small sometimes have bedrooms that don’t even fit a full-sized bed for two adults to be able to get in to. I enjoy going into a premade house and increasing the size by either adding a basement, extra bedrooms, extra floor(s), garages/carports, or an attic.
I use hacks and downloads from various sites (trying to add all links to my resources page) and currently only age sims from babies up to young adults. No adults have been aged to elders and no elders have died yet.
